Science in the 21st Century: Science, Society, and Information Technology

by Michael Nielsen on February 2, 2008

Together with Sabine Hossenfelder and Lee Smolin I’m helping organize a conference at Perimeter Institute on Science in the 21st Century: Science, Society, and Information Technology. A preliminary (and rapidly growing) list of invited participants is here, and it looks like it’s going to be a very exciting event. Registration is not yet open, but we’ll be opening it up shortly, so if you think you might be interested, keep Sep 8-12th free!

That’s pretty exciting Michael! I’ll try to make it and convince some of my colleagues to attend. Perhaps this link is of interest to you (http://cns-web.bu.edu/CELEST/).

FYI: seems to be a spelling mistake in the triangle (http://www.science21stcentury.org/ittriangle.html). In the link between Science and Society, I think the word “and” is misspelled “an”.

Excellent! Hope you can make it! I’m not sure yet, but we may have some ways of applying for financial aid for students and postdocs, too, which may make it easier.

    (I’ll get the spelling fixed…)
