{"id":54,"date":"2004-02-21T15:18:09","date_gmt":"2004-02-21T05:18:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/michaelnielsen.org\/?p=54"},"modified":"2004-02-21T15:18:09","modified_gmt":"2004-02-21T05:18:09","slug":"followup-on-previous-post","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/michaelnielsen.org\/blog\/followup-on-previous-post\/","title":{"rendered":"Followup on previous post"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Following up on the previous post, something that has been bugging me is that it was not clear to me how the actions of San Francisco Mayor Newsom differed from those of Justice Roy Moore, who caused a huge ruckus with a public monument to the Ten Commandments.<\/p>\n<p>Were Newsom and Moore acting solely in their role as private citizens, I&#8217;d have no trouble: I approve of Newsom&#8217;s stance, and disagree with Moore&#8217;s.
